How Can I Become Pregnant Fast ?

By Dave M Arnoldi

Before trying to get pregnant fast, it is necessary to understand what "fast" is. It is highly improbable that you will get pregnant in the first month of trying, although not impossible. The older you are the longer and harder it will be for you to become pregnant and the higher the chances that you will struggle to get pregnant.

On average, it takes women in their early twenties four to five months to five months to become pregnant. It takes women in their late twenties between five to seven months and women in their early thirties between seven and ten months to achieve conception. Women in their late thirties can take ten to twelve months or longer to conceive.
There are several things you can do to ensure that both you and your partner are at peak fertility - remember, he has a big role to play too, and the lack of conception may not always be an issue with the female.

1. Medical Check Up.
Visit a doctor for a full check up to make sure that everything is okay. While there, enquire about any medications you may be taking and whether or not they may inhibit fertility or potentially cause harm to your baby when you conceive.

2. Maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Cut down on processed foods as well as foods that are rich in fat and sugar. Eat plenty of starchy foods, dairy products, protein rich foods and fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid caffeine, cigarettes and alcohol as these can increase infertility and potentially harm the foetus when you do conceive.

3. Make Love.
That may sound exceeding obvious, but I'm not just saying have sex. Yes, you need to have sex frequently to conceive, especially during your most fertile times, but don't let it become a chore or a duty. Pressure to perform can result in a lack of performance and also decrease the chances of conception.

4. Avoid Stress and Exercise Regularly.
While I know this is much easier said than done, but while trying to conceive, it is important to eliminate as many sources of stress from your life as possible. Studies show that stress can affect your hormone regulation, your blood pressure and your menstrual cycles. It is important to note that stressing or obsessing about becoming pregnant has the same effect as other causes of stress. Regular exercise can help decrease your stress levels as well as keep you healthy and regulate your weight. This is important as women who are overweight (i.e. have a high Body Mass Index) have a harder time achieving pregnancy than women with a normal Body Mass Index do.

I once again find myself personally spending a significant amount of time both reading and leaving comments.
But so what, it was still worthwhile!
